Bridesmaids Dresses

For an idea on coloring of the dresses here are some pictures that I am looking to for reference of the color scheme and idea of variations that I have.

Not so much going for the colors of the dresses, but I love the nude heels!
The colors I am looking for are neutral to blush and peach. I want my bridesmaids in long, maxi dresses preferably with some sort of sleeve since it will most likely be cold. I love the softness of the peach, easy to match too! Happy Planning!

Wedding Dresses

These are some images that I am drawing inspiration from. I will be altering my mom's wedding dress, so I have been looking around for ideas and styles that I like and that I could picture myself in. Here are a few:

And basically everything on this blog is adorable :)

This website has beautiful photography
I'm hoping for the weather to be in my favor, but its going to be in March, one of the most unpredictable months. So we'll see what happens. Happy planning!

Ties for the Groomsmen

My sister and I found the cutest bow ties last night as we were wandering around ties.com. They are so cool, I'm tempted to have some of them for the groomsmen! I know I want them to be wearing bow ties and have tweed suits with elbow patches on my groom, but how awesome would it be if on top of that they were wearing one of these:
My absolute favorite is the kissing flamingos one! I think I will get that for Barrington to wear, it is just so sweet! The rest of the groomsmen can wear more neutral or coral colors!
Any of the tan or pinkish colors would work from this image! I like the idea of them having mismatched ties the same way my bridesmaids have mismatched dresses! But all in the same color scheme so that it looks nice! Maybe I'll match up the ties to the dresses that my bridesmaids pick out, but they will have to do that soon then! Happy Planning!

Delayed

My progress on invitations has been delayed due to my teachers absolutely LANDBLASTING us with assignments! I'll have time at the end of this week or next to work on projects and post pictures. Until then, happy planning!

Registering

Barrington and I spent all day in Macy's and William Sonoma registering for the wedding. Let me tell you, it is exhausting. Not as fun as you would expect. And Macy's was a wreck! I was disappointed. But oh well! We were very ambitious, so those of you reading this, don't be too surprised at it! :P Here are the links:

Bridesmaids Cards Complete

After much delaying and way too much work, I am finally finished with one aspect of wedding planning! Yay! Still have a lot more to do though. I am definitely happy with the finished product, in fact I am so proud of myself right now! :) I just have to address 60 more envelopes like this now... Oh well! Here are some pictures of the final cards!

So excited with how everything turned out! Not as pleased about the stamps, but that's okay! Happy Planning!

Centerpieces

I have seen a lot of ideas for DIY centerpieces, and I like quite a few of them. I think the idea I'm going to go with is having various wine bottles, antique tea cups, and possible throw in some soup cans in to get a very retro look. Also, mason jars and lanterns are cute, with some vintage books! Here are some pictures from my pinterest board that help me visualize what I want to do.

These last two I really like, especially the lace and fabrics tied around the bottles and cans! Happy Planning!
